Le roi honoraire est Président d’une Association Sans But Lucratif dénommée « ‘Opura’a o te Fare Arii no Raromata’i – Projets de la Maison Royale aux îles-sous-le-vent – Association Sans But Lucratif », en abrégé « OFAR – ASBL »

Cette association a divers objectifs, répartis en cinq larges champs d’actions :

L’Aide au développement régional :
Transports et communications. Indépendance énergétique. Protection de l’environnement et Suivi météorologique, Nettoyage et Lutte contre la pollution. Tri et recyclage des déchets et Soutien aux programmes de sensibilisation.
Genres et LGBTQI+ :
Sensibilisation aux réalités économiques et sociales du point de vue des genres, soutien au respect des droits LGBTQI+, protection et soutien des Transidentités Maohi et mise en avant altruiste de ses spécificités, incitation à la tenue de discussions sur les enjeux et l’observation du respect des droits LGBTQI+, et comparaison des situations à l’échelle régionale / internationale.
La Culture :
Protection et soutien à la représentation Maohi. Sauvegarde des Patrimoines matériel et immatériel qui font l’identité Maohi. Archéologie et mise en valeur des sites. Developpement de Centres Culturels, accès au Numérique. Promotion de la culture des îles Raromata’i.
Le Support et le Suivi de l’action publique :
Soutien aux organismes de santé publique. Accès aux infrastructures sportives. Archives, Recensement et statistiques. Soutien au développement respectueux de l’environnement et des réseaux de communication. Lutte contre la corruption et l’inaptitude. Intermédiation pour les projets publics et les missions d’intérêt général. Soutien financier aux projets communaux, aux initiatives de l’Eglise Protestante et aux initiatives à but de bien commun des différentes organisations et organisations religieuses présentes sur le territoire d’action de l’ASBL.

The Honorary King is President of the non-profit association ‘Opura’a o te Fare Arii no Raromata’i – Projects of the Royal House in the Leeward Islands, abbreviated to ‘OFAR – ASBL’.

This association has various aims, divided into five broad fields of action:

Support for regional development:

Transport and communications. Energy independence. Environmental protection and weather monitoring, clean-up and pollution control. Waste sorting and recycling and Support for awareness-raising programs.

Gender and LGBTQI+:

Raising awareness of economic and social realities from a gender perspective, supporting respect for LGBTQI+ rights, protecting and supporting Maohi Transidentites and altruistically highlighting its specificities, encouraging discussion of issues and observance of respect for LGBTQI+ rights, and comparing situations on a regional/international scale.

Culture:

Monitoring and support for Maohi representation. Safeguarding the tangible and intangible heritage that makes up the Maohi identity. Archaeology and site enhancement. Development of cultural centers, digital access. Promoting the culture of the Raromata’i islands.

Support and monitoring of public action:

Support for public health organizations. Access to sports facilities. Archives, census and statistics. Support for environmentally-friendly development and communication networks. Fight against corruption and ineptitude. Intermediation for public projects and missions of general interest. Financial support for communal projects, Protestant Church initiatives and initiatives for the community by the various religious organizations and bodies present in the ASBL’s area of action.
